So I am not viral like @CaseyNeistat, but I thank him for putting the bold back into video jlism.

Dear Casey:

I must tell you this in my fav color red, the desk and credenza color of the majority of my office here just north of St. Petersburg, FLA.

Nice going.  You need help a lot of people my age get their verve back on.  You help us fight burn out.

You say “why not”?   Maybe that’s why I became a teacher after being a writer for so many years.  But even then,  I did it because I had all these student loans and wanted to save money and work and get them paid off by Title One program funds.  I taught special needs  kids and conned a couple principals to sign here to eradicate $15,000 off my credit report.

They did and it was gone.  But a few years after that — the heat melted the verve off and the dust blew a few things around.

But when you snowboarded I asked myself what kind of sh** can I pull here without getting arrested?   And it is not just that…. it is more like what and where the verve went.

It’s sweet.  Because when I was 34,  my Dad passed away.  That stole my thunder and I ended up going to a group to get over the grief.  I may have gotten caught in the negative of family crap.

I am over that crud.   Skip what that was.  Moving on.

Doing and going after the verve inside is a cool thing.  I downloaded Beme, that app thing. I am going to tweet to our Mayor to download this app.   In short,  thanks for the inspiration to clean up my office and get back in there.   I can see the floor now.

There is a certain aimlessness about some who do not have an education or have what I have.  You do not have that.  That is refreshing.  I know you had to have nasty air blown on you to get here and there and where you are now.

High five!   Stay on track.

And thanks for inspiring me to get back in there.  There are other roads to explore. One more thing,  if you ever suffer the loss  of any human you know,  one word I say here is hospice support.   They helped me tremendously.

THANKS… FOR THE VERVE AND THE GROOVE.  I HOPE TO GET BACK ON THE ROAD AND SHOW YOU ALL THE FLORIDA I KNOW.  But maybe I already have done so.  My vids are not yours due to lack of equipment but I tried.

I have lived here in the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years. I am a native of New York. The purpose of this blog is to show what it is like to live here. This is Florida’s Daily life. Paradise has “moments” too. This blog attempts to reflect my Catholic Christian faith with balance and sunshine and a crack at holy humor. I have a real sense of humor. It is hot here. I sweat.
