I have had enough drama this Lent 2016. Here are the things I have to know this Easter…. warning not for the sensitve or scrupulous.

Folks,  I have had enough of this Lent 2016 .  I have had enough of no TV and foot surgery and doctor appointments to fight diabetes.  Hub has to undergo six weeks of daily IV therapy at an outpatient clinic and I have to drive him everrrry day for the next month.

So,  I am going to turn this up to a lighter note before heading into the Tridium of Good Friday and Holy Thursday and Easter Sunday.   At least the lights are on this year and we are helping a friend out.  This is more of a normal life.  Except yesterday,  the mower didn’t start when I went to mow the lawn.

These  are stupid nagging questions  that I ask in my grudge life now of taking my hub to his five weeks of outpatient appointments. Call it my Lenten distraction to doing and thinking what I should think.  So?    I need to lighten up so deal with it.   I cannot do pretentiousness or airs.

  1.  What does the Pope or priests or Bishops eat during Holy week  ?
  2. Do they cook for themselves or do they eat microwave meals?  Can they cook?
  3. How long does it take those  holier than thou religious people  to get ready in the morning?
  4. Can they multi-task?  (*Smirk. I can Today I took 20 minutes to get out of bed.  Prayer on my ass  time included with IPhone alarm. Then,  it was off to find the bathrobe,  get the day old coffee, find a frozen Belgian waffle,  come back from kitchen with the waffle to throw it in the toaster and then throw me in the shower with my clothes in hand .  Then,  I plug my IPhone  in to divineoffice.org  to do that prayer audio on the quick.  I also listen to USCCB readings for the day podcast audio while getting ready in a hurry.   )   I doubt if you all can  multi-task.  total time to get ready for me including all hair stuff – 18 minutes.  This includes shower and audio podcasts.  I stick all of them on semi fast forward  to get it done.  It gets done.
  5. How long does it take priests, Reverends, Bishops or priests or even Rabbis to get ready in the morning?
  6. Do  these holy (*smirk) yo yos use technology in their meditation routine in the morning?   (Note: I do  read how above. )
I will think of more gotta knows  as soon as there is more drama in my life this week.
Stay tuned.   I am going to blog another entry about endurance  and give some of you a test of what would you do.   Stay tuned to get graded on this one.
